“We are trying to show the weakness of
the king, the leader of the country, and there is a person who comes
and offers some kind of healing. … what to do to change the king’s life
for the better – as a king, as a husband, as a human being,” said
Kwiecien, who sings the title role.
That person is the Shepherd. In this line
of thinking, he could be thought of as the king’s psychiatrist, or
maybe just his new best friend with sound advice.
“The king realizes that the shepherd is
no one special, but he has the huge power of being free. He knows what
he wants in his life,” Kwiecien said.(...)

Tą osobą jest Pasterz. Idąc tym tokiem rozumowania, może być uznany za królewskiego psychiatrę, czy może jego nowego najlepszego przyjaciela od dobrych rad.
